2. Information the app processes

3. Why this information is used

It is used only to provide search, route planning, Veloland information, elevation profiles, turn-by-turn navigation, personal arrival-time estimates, settings and support.

4. Services and recipients

HalloVelo has no developer-operated location-history server. Route and search information may be processed by Apple Maps. Elevation and Veloland data are requested from Swiss federal geodata services; see the geo.admin.ch terms. If you contact us, your email provider and ours process the message. These providers process information under their own terms and applicable law. Apple may process information outside Switzerland or the EEA as described in its privacy policy.

5. No tracking or sale

HalloVelo has no account, advertising or third-party analytics SDK. We do not sell personal information or use it to track you across other companies’ apps and websites.

6. Retention and deletion

Recent places, preferences and learned speeds remain on your device until you clear or reset them in Settings, delete the app, or iOS removes its data. We do not retain a copy of your location history on our servers. Support messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request and meet legal obligations. Apple and geo.admin.ch determine retention for information they process.

7. Your choices and rights

You can change location access in iOS Settings, clear recent places, reset learned ride data and reset app settings. Removing location permission limits route planning from your position and live navigation. You may ask us for access, correction or deletion of personal information held by us by emailing the address above. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

8. Security, children and changes

HalloVelo relies on iOS protections and sends service requests over encrypted network connections. The app is not designed to collect information from children and does not require an account. We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change; the date above identifies the current version.
